Who is Cellar Vault for?

Cellar Vault is designed for Collection Owners who want to manage, organize, and track their private wine collections — from casual collectors with a few dozen bottles to serious collectors with thousands.

How do the tiers work?

Cellar Vault offers three tiers: Free (up to 225 bottles with basic features), Pro (advanced AI scanning, unlimited CSV import, cellar layout tools), and Premium (everything in Pro plus interactive 3D cellar viewer and Collection Intelligence). Pro and Premium both offer flexible bottle limits that scale with your collection.

What is Cellar Suite AI?

Cellar Suite AI is a proprietary label scanning and document import technology. It reads wine labels and collection spreadsheets to auto-populate bottle records, saving hours of manual entry.

Does my Free plan include Cellar Vault?

Yes. Every account includes Cellar Vault with up to 225 bottle records at no cost. Cellar Suite AI features require a Pro or Premium plan.

Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?

Yes. Plan changes take effect immediately and are prorated. You can manage your plan from your Account page.

What happens if I reach my bottle limit?

You can still view your existing inventory, but adding new bottles is paused until you upgrade or remove some entries. Your data is always safe.

Is my inventory data secure?

All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Cellar Suite never shares your inventory data with third parties.

What is Cellar Match?

Cellar Match is a separate matching and introduction service within Cellar Suite that connects verified Collection Owners with qualified Cellar Match Stewards. It uses AI-powered proposal comparison to help Collection Owners evaluate offers and find the right match for their collection.

Who is Cellar Match for?

Cellar Match serves two audiences: Collection Owners looking to connect with qualified professionals for their collections, and Cellar Match Stewards (licensed auction houses, retailers, and qualified professionals) seeking access to verified private wine collections.

How does matching work?

Collection Owners list their collection once. Qualified Cellar Match Stewards review listings and submit Acquisition Proposals. Cellar Suite AI scores every proposal across price, logistics, timeline, and the Collection Owner's stated goals. The Collection Owner then chooses the best match.

How does Cellar Match generate money?

Cellar Match Stewards are responsible for platform match fees, never Collection Owners.

Do I need a Cellar Vault subscription to use Cellar Match?

The short answer is no. All Cellar Match users are auto-enrolled in the free version of Cellar Vault. If you’re interested in utilizing our advanced inventory import tools beyond 225 bottles, then you’d need a Pro or Premium account to do so. Otherwise, Collection Owners can import CSVs of any size collection into Cellar Match for free!
